Fatal Accident Claims One

( Bedford, KY ) -- 61-year-old James Busey of Bedford, KY was found dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash on Highway 42 in Trimble County.

Police were called by family members a little before 8:30pm Friday when Busey hadn't returned home after leaving four hours earlier.

Shortly after 9:30pm, troopers located Busey unresponsive near the intersection of Latta Road and Highway 42, and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner.

Reports indicate that his motorcycle left the roadway in a curve while traveling east on Highway 42, and continuing for over 200 feet before crashing.

Investigators are naming the wet road conditions as a factor in the crash.
